So many years ago I bought a DC Direct Arkillo basically to put the head and tongue-necklace onto the DCUC Arkillo BAF. I figured I just put a generic monster head on the DCD version and have a background Sinestro Corps. member. But soon after this big guy appear in a GL panel and immediately made me think of the Marvel Legends Red Hulk head. So I quickly ordered a Rulk head cast and promptly threw the body and head into a box to finish "eventually".

Over three years later I came across them and decided I might as well do the job. Besides, he offered a little respite from more difficult customs. To help myself feel like I didn't just do minimal effort here, I also gave him a new manicure ("monsters are the most interesting people, I always say") and painted to yellow to better blend with the Mattel Sinestro Corps yellow. And that was it.

For the record, Schlagg-Man is described as a career criminal who hails from the planet Bismoll--I guess he just didn't have the pepto do anything constructive. Get it, pep to...pepto...Bismoll...Pepto Bismol...

Hello? Anyone? Is this thing on?

Anyway, I don't think he's appeared much elsewhere, but since I stopped reading comics 18 months ago maybe he's become more prolific. That is if he has the teeth for it. Oh, I should probably explain that a judge had ol' Schlagg's teeth removed after he bit through a policemen's neck, so he had them replaced with Bismollian steel that can apparently chew through anything. So maybe he does have the chops? Ok, I'll stop now.
