The Inspiration:
One of my favorite customs ever made was Daredevil by the very talented customizer Asch. He made some stunning original concept work. Then two more of my faves Red Rebel and Loosecollector made this version and inspired me even more to get to working on mine.

I decided to go with the Shadowland colors, while not a fan of the storyline, I thought it would make the straps and extra details all stand out more and pop than the all red suit. Plus the newer Marvel Cinematic DD is incorporating more black in to his costume as well.

The story:
In Shadowland, Daredevil was possessed by a Demon that goes by the name the Beast of the Hand. What if, rather than turning in to a raging jerk, Matt was able to harness the powers of the demon and unleash them at free will? This is what I would imagine him looking like. A Beast physique, sometimes calm and composed, and other times wicked and waging war on all those who oppose the beliefs of his calmer ego. When in "Beast mode", he collects their eyes in his backpack and makes canes from their bones. This version of Daredevil is superior to his prior self, and far darker. This really puts a spin that enhances his devilish moniker. I wish the Shadowland storyline would have had gone this direction.

Crotch: Toybiz Black Panther
Shoulders/Biceps: AOA Sabretooth
Double Elbow joint/Forearms: TNA Toybiz wrestler
Hands: Tongue attack Venom
Hips/Thighs: Toxin
Knees/Lower Legs/Boots: Bishop
Cane: Jonah Hex bad guy
Straps and pouches and buckles all from fodder and sculpted

I designed him a new logo, where there is a shadow of a cross representing that Matt's religion is now just shadow between his Daredevil true nature and Demon, but it's still there.
