Hey everyone,

The end of the Sota toys Street Fighter figure line brought many tears to collectors of this wonderful fighting game franchise eyes.
Some of the Street fighter figures Sota made looked absolutely perfect (Guile,Sagat,Vega,Gen,T-Hawk, Adon and Bison)
While others were passable but could of used improvements (Ryu,Ken,Cammy and Zangief)
But then we have Dhalsim, probably Sota worse figure they created and the sign of the end of this great figure line.

Dhalsim was so cheaply made that he would break apart with a simple articulation movements. I decided to tackle and created a custom of the yoga master and give his character some justice!! C'mon Sota!! Dhalsim was one of the original eight..he deserved better! Hopefully I was able to do that.

Dhalsim is one of my most complex customs I have created. First off, I gathered all the skinniest ML and DC universe male base bodies I can find that would give him a wide range of articulation for his yoga poses. Here is what I did to created this Indian hindu yoga fighter together.

Torso: Toybiz ML Captain Marvel

Head, biceps, waist & upper legs with sculpted shorts: DC Universe Mercury

Forearms: ML Gambit with sculpted wraps

Interchangable Hands: ML Infinite Iron Fist

Calves: ML Dr Strange with sculpted wraps

Feet: Mcfarlane Soultaker

Jewelry, skulls and rope belt accessories: craft store & Sota Akuma

Elephant pet accessory: Local thrift shop

For Dhalsim head I had to cut off DC Mercury long Pinocchio nose and sculpt and restructure his face to look more like him.
then I painted him with multiple skin shading and he was done.
Finally for Dhaslim mammoth pet elephant, I had the tedious task of painting this  in scale statue but in the end it was all worth it.

Hopefully you guys like my Dhalsim because the old Sota figure definitely needed a huge make over :)
