8-Ball was made from a Marvel Legends Face Off Punisher with a 1 inch wood ball for a head. His cue stick is just a wooden dowel, with one end sanded down. The figure itself was pretty simple, so I wanted to do something extra to make things more interesting. I decided to make his 8-ball hovercraft as a display base. For the big 8-ball, I used a 4 inch Chenille Kraft Clear Acrylic Globe. These are hollow balls that you can put things inside and make ornaments. I put a piece of plywood in the center, and filled the rest with expanding foam. The foot pegs, and the pegs connecting the ball to the base, are 1/8" clear plastic dowels. The dowels go down into the plywood in the center of the ball. I made the base from a block of wood, and covered it with "concrete tiles" cut from the cover of one of those 3 ring binders made of stiff plastic.
