I recently became interested in the Four Horsemen's Outer Space Men line of toys, unfortunately for me some of the more popular characters have sold out from the website and sell for high prices on the secondary market. Toward the end of the line all the figures were reissued as White Star versions, unpainted white plastic with blue ABS accents. Most are still available so I bought a White Star Terra Firma figure to customize. The original Terra Firma's cardback mentions Terra's space crewmates- Jack Asteroid, Heavy Gravity and Luna Eclipse. Jack is one of the line's other figures, but the other two were never depicted in any kind of artwork. I decided it would be fun to create a new character from the existing body, plus I hoped to get an official Infinity Edition Terra Firma eventually. So this is my interpretation of her friend Luna Eclipse, The Woman from the Dark Side of the Moon! I love the retro future look and antigravity breasts of the base figure, and my version is a little more exotic than the original's orange NASA suit. Because this is a Glyos system figure and all of the body parts can be popped apart, this was one of the easiest customization jobs I've ever undertaken. The limbs and head were handpainted and sprayed with a sealer, the gloves, boots and torso were left completely alone which also makes it a little more handle-able than your average custom. As soon as these figs came out I knew I had to grab some, so I bought the painted version and the plain one, just havent decided what to do with the plain one yet.
