Cosmos was a TF that was based off of old UFO photoss taken ion the 40s and 50s. I tried to make him looks as spaceish as possible but I used a set of binoculars instead of a ship. He was given a new head VIA MARS kits and sculpt and was also given thruster by the same kit.

I based him black then tried colormatching as best psooble to his original scheme.

I'm starting get into customizing myself, just something to do for fun in my free time. What is a MARS kit? And how do most people do sculpts? Using something like Sculpey clay?

MARS kits were available from Wal Mart about 7 or 8 years ago thru Wal Mart. It was a kit that had tons of robotic parts that worked well with Transformers. As far as sculpt goes its mainly Aves Apoxy sculpt. It can be shaped and molded and has a decent working time. After cured it is rock hard but can be sanded and drilled.

Man I wish I hadn't given away this figure when I had him. Especially since the legend class Cosmos from last year never showed up in my area at all. WHere do you find the MARS kits? All I find is the small mechas at Dollar general.

Interesting idea. I never would have thought to use longview to make cosmos, yet it fits well though.
