SMASH!!!!!! Hello everybody, this is my 5th entry for my TMNT/Avengers crossover set. Raphael was just passing by the lab when he heard the loud sirens and danger lights going off...Acting bravely, he leaped in front of Donnie, shielding him from a large blast of gamma rays and mutagen (trying to reproduce the Super-Turtle serum that changed Captain Leo). Even though he saved Donnie, he would soon learn his hot-headed temper would become his greatest strength and greatest weakness.

I had a lot of fun making this guy, especially since the Hulk is my favorite hero ever! Now onto the recipe:

Head: Sound FX Raph
Front Shell: Mutations Mikey
Back Shell: Mutations Mikey
Arms, Legs, Waist: 2003 Hulk figure
Hands, Feet: sculpted

I wrapped a 2003 Hulk inside of the half shells and then sculpted around each side (removed the belts and filled in the gaps that were left). I also used Apoxy Sculpt to hold the head joint in place and to sculpt the neck muscles/chest area. I sanded down the torn pants so that I could try to make Hulk's new elastic pants like in AoU. Then the calves were cut and shortened to help give the proper scale when standing with the rest of the set. I used more sculpt to blend the shortened legs as well as make the hand and feet. I added cracks to both sides of the shell, with the idea that he cracked his shell when changing into the Hulk. I gave him a dirty look because, well, he just smashes thru everything! lol I hope you enjoy him and CC is welcome......now if only the Iron Turtle had some sort of suit in case he gets out of control?
