Hey all,

This is my first Custom figurine that I ever took a serious stab at. It's a McFarlane's Movie Maniacs Series 3 King Kong Deluxe Box Set as the base figurine. I wanted to take it to the next level, so I decided to at some blood and guts.

Here's a list of the changes that I made:

a) Used a heat gun to heat the plastic beams (supposed to me steel) at the top of the figurine and twisted them forward and down to better portray the strength that "Rage Kong" had when he ripped free from the chains. The beams was originally straight across.

b) The guts/intestines that you see were removed from a Walking Dead "Bungee" Zombie. They looked horrible in their stock form, so I repainted them with Citadel's "Blood For The Blood God" model paint (all the blood in this custom is from the same jar). I also used a heat gun to re-shape these intestines.

c) I also painted blood on Kong and the floor. I painted in such a manor that it would look like the blood wsa coming from the guts that he was holding (rubbing against his fur, dripping, etc).

d) I splashed a little bit of blood on the Anne figure, and re-bent her so that she appeared to be looking up in horror at Kong.
