I always loved the old Baxter Stock-fly figure and concept and really wanted to do something to pay homage to that but be my own look and fit in with my other TMNT creations. Eventually I found the Spider-man 2 Movie Tail Slashing Attack figure even though the Lizard wasn't really in that movie. Anyway I thought that would make a great base for a gross looking small "fly-entist". Turns out I was right. I gave that figure the giant head of the original as well was the original's secondary arms (retaining articulation). I broke of the Lizards tail and covered the resulting hole with hot glue which matched up with the texture really well. Thought about going with a purplish paint job but decided on brown as a nod to his current nick-toons version and his original African American heritage. I really like the way he's turned out and think he really does look like a small, sniveling, mad scientist he should be.
