While I've always thought Lex Luthor as a character was really cool, I've never been too fond of his green armor. It was just a weird choice. When Injustice came out, I thought it looked cool, but I absolutely loved the black variant. I fixed up both ages ago, finally finding a great use for those large armors in the Iron Man 2 movie line. But, I always wanted to go back and give the black one another attempt. Especially without the gloss. I started him up months ago, but time constraints made me put him aside like many others, so he just sat there collecting dust. Thankfully, a request recently came in for it, and in the exact color, so I grabbed him, dusted him off, and jumped back to work. Sculpted up the chest piece and the collar portion, cut the cables off his arms, and proceeded into the joyous repaint of an Iron Man build, along with all the extra detail lines I couldn't resist adding. Overall, I'm much happier with this attempt at the design.
