Shanna the She-Devil (Shanna O'Hara, now Lady Plunder) was born in Africa, the daughter of a diamond miner named Gerald O'Hara. She spent the majority of her childhood growing up in the jungles of Zaire. When she was six years old, her father went to kill a rogue leopard that belonged to her mother. While hunting for the leopard, Shanna's father accidentally killed her mother. This traumatic incident led to Shanna's lifelong crusade against the use of firearms. After the incident, Shanna moved back to the United States. Shanna grows up to become an accomplished Olympic athlete, specializing in competitive swimming and track and field. She also studied to be a veterinarian.

Her career took back to Africa, and she became an adventurer who protects the natural environment. Her adventures led her to the Savage Land, where she met and eventually married Lord Kevin Plunder (better known as Ka-Zar). They eventually had a son named Matthew.

Little known trivia: Shanna was introduced in 1972 as part of an effort by Stan Lee to attract more female readers. Three heroines were introduced at the same time: Shanna, Night Nurse (featured as part of a composite character in the new Netflix Daredevil series), and The Cat (who wore the costume we now know as Hellcat's, but who was actually Greer Nelson who later mutated into Tigra).

This is my improved Shanna using the Hasbro release as a start. I added Ms. Marvel hair to a Scarjo Black Widow face. I replaced her lower arms with Elektra lower arms for added articulation and to have two gripping hands instead of one. The spear is from Kraven. Zabu is an animal figurine (like those sold by Schleich) by Mojo that I found at a Hobby Lobby. The base is from a LOTR Gollum figure.
