this is the first predator custom i've produced that doesn't use a NECA predator base, so making it was an interesting process...
i named this one in homage to the donor of the base body figure... plus, a predator/Conan face-off could've been pretty sweet...
firstly i had to remove Conan's head, lower legs/feet, forearms/hands & loincloth. these were replaced with modified extremities from both McFarlane & NECA predator figures, & the gaps/peg holes were filled in with kneadatite.
the neck of the Conan figure was pretty much non-existant, so it was replaced with that from a NECA predator & thickened out with more green stuff.
i painted this one up to resemble the arresting skin tones of poisonous amphibians such as dart frogs and salamanders to give him a bit of visal 'pop'. that combined with the additional height provided by the stand/base give this guy some real presence on the shelf.
