Rescue / Pepper Potts (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:72411
Name:Rescue / Pepper Potts
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Wings
Date Added:April 18, 2015
Base Figure:Extremis Ironman
Height:6.00 inches
Had a bit of a creative block for some weeks now, but got the juices flowing again after scoring a cheap Extremis Ironman on eBay. Wanted to try out some new Tamaya inks I'd had so decided to opt for one of the unreleased figures showcased in 2013.

Sculpted the chest, bum and hips for a more effeminate shape and used a ScarJo head cast from Face Customs. Darice craft foam hair as ever. Added a magnet to the open palm and used a cocktail stirrer and hot glue for the repulsor beam.

Unfortunately the neck peg got obliterated during the boil and pop. Luckily I had a lot of figarts joints so actually improved the motion.

I love this! Best looking Rescue I've seen! Hint though. Hair dryer works better and less damage if any than the boil and pop on the newer plastics. At least for me. Just let it sit in front of it on high for a few minutes.

Will have to learn to be more patient with the hairdryer. I think it was a KO figure too given how much he was, but will keep it in mind for future projects.

Great job! I know, from experience, that turning a male figure into a good female custom is really difficult. Really impressive job.
