The CRT tube television has entertained homes for numerous decades. It is considered one of the best inventions ever created. Now that tv technology is rapidly moving forward the tube tv is near it's end and no longer in production that is until a story of a 12 years old genius kid and his 13 inch obsolete Sony Wega TV re-invented how television is being watched.

Duckie Winston was born gifted with a high I.Q. but was very timid and anti-social. His late father gave him a small Sony Wega tube television for receiving excellent grades in school and wanted him to have a normal childhood by watching cartoons, sitcom shows, sports and movies with him hopefully to open up his young intelligent son to the world.
Duckie shared many fond memories with his dad watching Saturday morning cartoons and movies on his small sony wega tv before his dad unexpectedly passed away from his diabetes.

Television technology has improved to the next level with flat LCD and LED high definition tv's. CRT tube televisions are quickly becoming obsolete. Duckie didn't want to get rid of his dad only precious gift he left with him,so he made a decision to re-invent the outdated tube television. He created a new form of entertainment and named his creation....Digital Wega-Tube!

Wega-Tube is a humanoid robotic television that DVR/Tivo and saves/store sitcoms, cartoons, video games and movies on to his data base hard drive located on his chest cavity along with the latest sound technology. When a program is on, Wega-tube is able to mimic and possess the powers or personality of the characters that is currently shown on his screen until the program/movie is over. The entertaining factor is done live and reenact in person for all individuals to watch, enjoy and interact with in scenes. Its how the magic of this creation works.



To make Digital Wega Tube custom..I combined DC and Marvel legends parts. The torso is from DC Mantis with DC Ares arms. Then I modified the front chest and added DC Desaad computer accessory along with sanding down Ares skulls and installed tubes on his forarms . I cut the blade wings from Mantis back & attached them to its upper shoulders. Next I connected the torso to Marvel legends Mr.Sinister legs and added WWE elite Demolition boots. The TV screen head is from FLCL figure and created a vintage antenna on top using wolverine claws. Belt and battery backpack came from fodder then I painted him up and improvised his color design.
Duckie Winston was made from ML Franklin with Hit monkey arms and sculpted afro. I also included eye glasses and a pick comb for his fro. Painted him up as well and they were done.

Hopefully you guys like my story and idea of a vintage classic re-invented into the modern world. Many of us can relate, the Tube Television played a big part in our lives and gave us great memories.
