Bravo inspired this week's batch. I was stuck on trying to figure out what to go with this week, and really wanted to do a team. That was about the time he posted his own rendition of the Nightstalkers, so I immediately made note of them. I have to admit, I've always liked this look for Blade, too. He's had a ton over the years, because they apparently think that's why he hasn't been a hit. It's more that he's so limited. He hunts vampires. And they pretty much keep him to that. Why not team him up with Ghost Rider and they battle demons together? Even Buffy fought monsters and demons. But, anyway. Once I opted to try the team myself, I couldn't wait to try this design out. I debated the head for a while, and checked lots of cast sites, but never could find one I really liked. I finally opted to try the same one I used for Captain Future and all my past Brutaals, and sure enough, loved it. I swapped out the arms and lower legs for Starlord, then added knives from Punisher. The spikes on his right shoulder were fingers from one of many extra Microman hands I have. The other pieces are cut from some random Joe accessory. Added sculpt to the entire torso, and his upper legs. And to top him off, a movie blade from Vortious. Had a couple extra, and think it's a much better option than just a regular sword. I wanted to add another knife to his upper leg like the picture, but I ran out of hilts. lol So, I just skipped it.
