I recently sold my earlier Hulk to our fellow customizer, MARVELOUS_CUSTOMS, and I wanted to fill the gamma void in my heart with Hasbro's Age of Ultron Hulk. Due to my impatience, I decided to create a new one instead using an old and dusty Toybiz First Appearance Hulk. I absolutely loathed that figure when I bought it and only did so to build Galactus. I can forgive its soft sculpt and odd proportions for trying to stay faithful to the time period, but I could not do the same for that flat-topped, ape-looking head. Hulk didn't look like that in his first appearance!
Anyway, I resculpted the entire surface except for the hands and feet in order to give the figure more realistic musculature. Grungethemovie's Hulks served as an example as to what could be done in this area. Then, I sculpted a head from scratch before the paint job.
