This was first original Predator concept I came up with an also the first Predator custom figure I made in general. Since he wears a Xenomorph mask, I decided to make a version with armor which was inspired by the Kainde Amedha (Xenomorph carapace) armor worn by Yautja warriors from Dark Horse Comics Alien versus Predator and Aliens versus Predator: War such as Broken Tusk, Shorty and Top-Knot. This design is basically a mash up of some of my favorite Predator designs (Broken Tusk, Serpent Hunter, Bad Blood Blood, Heavy Predator, Wolf and the Samurai Predator). This figure was made using parts various NECA figures including the Wolf Predator, Bad Blood Predator, Jungle Hunter Predator, Battle Damaged Blue Xenomorph Warrior, Chair Suit Engineer, Big Red Predator and the Tech Noir T-800. The feet are from a McFarlane Scar Predator which I used because they added more articulation and I wanted this version to also have the bladed shoes, and Wolf's looked ridiculous on it, so they were the only alternative.

The figure features 3 interchangeable face plates (masked, closed mouth and open mouth), he also has a sword (with a Xenomorph's innerjaw for a hilt), a shuriken, and a handheld burner. His plasma caster can also be removed and used as a handheld gun as well. The mask is probably the most complex part of the figure, it was made from a Wolf Predator bio mask, pieces of shoulder armor from Wolf and the Jungle Hunter, the Xenomorph face was made from dremeled parts of the the Battle Damaged Blue Xenomorph Warrior. The base was originally made by Maxwell J. Barmer II, but I added some blood effects to it as well as the severed Colonial Marine corpse (made from a NECA Colonial Marine, the head of a WWE figure and the guts from the Star Wars Acklay) and the severed Xenomorph head (which is from another NECA Battle Damaged Blue Xenomorph Warrior). The Facehugger and severed Xenomorph hand were additions already added to the base by Maxwell. I'm not completely sure what the burner came from (I also only got it in two pics because I kind of forgot about it), I think it may have been from a Fakk 2 figure, but not entirely sure. You may also notice the eyes on both the figures unmasked faces are whited out, this is because S'loss is blind, I liked the idea of him being a blind swordsman somewhat like Zatoichi. All in all, I think this is my new favorite custom even if it did start off as nothing more than a random insomnia-fueled idea. Painted using Citadel and Folkart paints.
