Alrighty...another one that had nearly been completed for quite awhile...Lee Bermejo styled SUPERMAN! YEAH! Since I made a Bermejo Batman, it was only fitting to make one of these too (right FITZI?). So he's made completely from a ML Nova figure except for the cape which came from a Movie Masters black suit Superman.

The torso was completely resculpted to reflect Bermejo's style and the head was built up the same way. For the crazy wiry hair, I sunk some short bits of pre-curved wire from a Christmas tree ornament hook (that's ingenuity baby!) and then sculpted the rest of the hair. He also has a sculpted symbol, belt loops, belt buckle, boots, boot straps, and seams.

Paint wise I went with some washed out colors and added a little comic styling to the facial creases with a medium brown. Over all I'm glad with how he turned out. I wanted him to look rugged and real-world but still retain that comic likeness. Hope I captured that!
