A Hulk in Kirbyesque style. I had some huge muscled Hulk, but the head was too small and the features wrong: a lantern jaw and hook nose. Hulk traditionally has an underslung jaw and button nose, and Kirby gave him a cleft chin. So I split the small head down the center and padded it with thick Evergreen card, added a neck, then modeled a small nose and cleft chin and fat lower lip, and shaved his hair to a bowl haircut and added shags. I put on a ton of green putty to fill in the missing muscles: had to consult an artist's reference to get them right. I left off eyebrows for a scary look, and didn't include armpit hair. I added nipples and even built genitals so the tight pants would stretch right. The pants and shirt are pieces of handkerchief material put on ragged, then I just drew a line between shirt and pants. The white shirt adds some color and breaks up the green and purple expanses. The "Hulk broke through the street" base is some scrap stippled like a road. I cut out the footprints, stacked tubes, then glued a section of CD case to make the bottommost level, and added debris filled out with gray caulking. Then I sprayed it black, dabbed on gray-white, then spattered it with a thin wash of white by flicking an old toothbrush: a landscape technique for rocks and oceans. I'm not really a Hulk fan, but needed one to pair off with my Thing.
