Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke, is a mercenary who fights for his own cause. Here's my own take on Deathstroke with a modern tactical suit. Some design influences for this were from the comics by Tony Daniel, the character’s look in the animated film Son of Batman and also the Arrow TV series. The base body is a Neca Armored Kick-Ass. I sculpted the mask and added some weapons. The interchangeable head is from DC Direct Warlord. The boots are from a Marvel Select Ultimate Doc Ock.
***Update*** THANK YOU to everyone who voted for Deathstroke in the Cranky Pants contest. I really appreciate all the support from you all for this antihero to help him win. It was an honor to compete among so many talented creators. Thanks also to schnibble for creating the contest idea.
Thank you schnibble! I appreciate the congrats from you since you created the anti-heroes contest theme and you are a Deathstroke fan. Glad you liked my redesign.
Congrats! I love the simplicity of the suit, and color processing is sober. you really well balanced the input mix orange and navy blue. Very nice work as always !
Thanks again and again botman, kbbyn! That's a huge compliment which means a lot coming from you since I know you are the expert when it comes to Deathstroke. You have made many great versions of this character and won in a contest with your own awesome Deathstroke custom.
Congratulations!! , sorry for the late comment on such Awesome "Kick-ass" Deathstroke , Ultra Cool design and love that you gave an unmasked version as well , Great work my friend!!!
En-Ryu-Oh!2061, or "N" for short, great to hear from you my friend and thank you! I found an cheap Warlord for $4 just in time for the contest, so head is now Slade Wilson.
Congrats on the well deserved gold! Ingenious deathstroke! Love the shot of him pulling out his sword! Not all figures can do that. it reminds me of the Manu Bennett version.
