Baxter here started off as a Grinnah the Goblin (the Hobbit) figure. I built the additional arms, wings and lower legs from scratch using revoltech joints for articulation and shaped the lower half of his lab coat from sugru so that it doesnt hinder any of the movement.

I had real fun making this guy.

Cool baxter. Still have my original from when I was a kid, although hes missing a wing... is the head sculpt from the nick line? If so I may have to pick one up.

Thanks. The base figure only had a swivel at the neck so I sculpted a longer nect to give it more shape and articulation. I have pictures of the WIP over on Flickr (search connor_obain) that gives you a better idea

I never had the original toy as a kid so I just had to buy it when making this guy...y'know for research purposes ahem

WOW! I love this custom of Baxter! I can tell a lot of TLC went into creating this creepy-cool dude!

Thanks. I am working my way through some of my favorite figures from back in the day. I never had baxter back then so it gave me an excuse to buy him now...y'know, purely for research
