Hello again. This time we'l be looking at my Cloud Rodimus inspired custom. Seeing as the figure it's inspired from is around $100 itself, I simply bought the $20 Springer version and painted it up for less than have the cost. Painting over the green was tricky but I feel it gave Rodimus a weathered look that I enjoy. And it is a nice update to my Lost Light crew, replacing my older Generations Hot Rod. But, like my Dai Atlas, I will not be transforming him often, mainly because the figure itself is a pain to transform.

Really like this , I may need to steal your idea and try this for myself . was it a pain to match up the transformed paint with the robot form ?

Not really. I looked at a lot of reference pictures of Cloud Rodimus from all angles as I was painting.
