Die Beschwörer (German; lit. "the conjurer") was, at one point in her true life, an avid DJ infamous for her black hair with acid green highlights. However, her life as Catherine Harper ended when, well, she died. Unfortunately for her, moments before her death she inadvertently made a pact with the currently crowned Devil, a seemingly young girl by the name of Wryne. While the demon queen knew of the impending attack on America's west coast, Catherine was entirely unaware, telling the girl that she couldn't have her soul until she died, which at that point she "won't give half a damn." Waking up in Hell, Catherine was immediately furious, but because of her poorly worded promise, she was now under contract. Wryne's demand was simple: Catherine would be granted powerful necromancer abilities which she would use to "make the upcoming crisis more interesting," amd in exchange, Catherine would be allowed to return to the world of the living. Taking this over being blinked out of existence, Catherine returned to the exact place she died, only to find destruction and radiation powerful enough to make even a denizen of Hell like herself vomit. Realizing she had lost everything, Catherine began to rampage. Soon discovering that the president had some influence in the attack, she set out to murder him and everyone in between. However, a man a few years younger than her beat her to the punch, causing her frenzy to reach catastrophic levels. Relentlessly raising hordes of zombies to slaughter whoever she saw along the way, Catherine was spotted by a German refugee who shouted in horror, "die beschwörer!," a title that stuck with her. Eventually, rather than ending up exacting revenge on the man who stole her kill (which, as it turns out, also stole it from another would-be assassin), she experiences a sequence of events that causes her to ally with him instead, periodically forming a team to find a way out of the hellish lawless apocalypse that was all that remained of the United States.
Die Beschwörer started as a Figma Mana Miyuki. After removing the bow and ponytails, I sculpted the hair, boot linings, and coat extension with ProCreate sculpt. Belts are from a harness that came with ML Winter Soldier and horns came from a NECA Xenomorph Warrior's arms. The scythe started as a spear from a Funko GoT Legacy White Walker, which I added Fixit as the bones, Procreate as the base of the blade, and a dremeled down plastic knife as the actual blade. Spectral hand is wire and hot glue. Paint was a combination of Tamiya, Citadel, and a tiny bit of TMMA. Figure was finished with Testors lackluster lacquer. Zombie companion Dmitry will likely find his own submission and will have his recipe described there. But, to clarify, yes, that mosaic is there for a reason. No, it has no real relevance except the figure's crotch was blank and I wanted to add a bit of gross humor to the zombie.
