Dr. Fate's origins begin over 10 billion years ago. Two elemental forces — the Lords of Order and Lords of Chaos, came into being at the beginning of the universe's struggle for supremacy. The Lords of Order manifested themselves as the first sentient race in the universe, a race of incorporeal magical beings. After millennia, one of the Lords of Order, descended to Earth and became Nabu the Wise. Nabu is an accomplished sorcerer, able to defeat most other wizards and is one of the strongest divine masters in the DC Universe. As a Lord of Order he has atonement to the universe and a Nigh-Omnipotent Mastery of Magic of the highest order. Nabu became the keeper of several powerful talismans. The Helmet of Fate, a Magical Repository that holds immense arcane power and is considered the most powerful magical artifact the world has ever known. A circular device called the Amulet of Anubis, which gives anyone who wears it vast magical abilities. The Cloak of Destiny endows its wearer with Flight, Near-invulnerability and Super Strength. (Helmet of Fate): Installed Magnet. Painted one coat of Enamel Metallic Gold. Painted three coats of Acrylic Metallic Gold. Painted Eye Slots Flat White with Black outline.

(Nabu Head): Installed Magnet. Painted Hair, Beard and Mustache a Flat White. Painted Face a Medium Flesh tone. Painted eyes a Glossy White and then simple Black Dots.

(Cloak of Destiny): Painted one coat of Silver. Painted three coats of Metallic Gold.

(Suit): Painted two coats of Flat Dark Blue. Inserted Magnet in Neck.

(Collar, Belt, Gauntlets, Boots and Bicep Rings): Painted two coats of Metallic Gold. Outlined Gauntlets and Boots with a Black Pen.

(Hands): Sanded the Iron Fist Hands to look more like Gloves. Painted one coat of Silver. Painted three coats of Metallic Gold.

(Amulet of Anubis): Dremmeled out circle in Belt. Inserted a solid, rounded button. Customized a Waterslide Decal of the Amulet and put on the button.
