So ever since I picked up my Mumm-Ra figure for $5 I'm been both pleased to have the character at all and thankful to have gotten such a good deal. However I've also absolutely hated the way he looks from day one. They say imitation is the best form of flattery and I do a lot of imitation on this site. After I saw Mikey0357's version of Mumm-Ra I knew I would steal his idea. It was just too perfect. So I called upon the ancient spirits of evil to help me transform that terrible toy into Mumm-Ra The Ever Living!

I used the Heroes Icons Mumm-Ra stachion figure for the head, bandages and feet and a MOTUC Keldor for the base body. I heated his head-flappy thing and bent it upwards so that it doesn't really affect articulation anymore. I also drilled out the feet so that I could use the existing lower legs and not lose articulation there either. Basically he retains all movement the base body is capable of. The has three stitches, one at each hand and one at the neck in order to attach it and not hinder movement. Finished it off by painting the chest symbol, a little gold and black here and there, and then gave him the 200X Mumm-Ra's Sword of Plun-darr. I have to say I absolutely love the finished product and I hope you do to.

Now I feel like the only thing I need is a good Ma-Mutt to tag along with him. Alas.
