Making a Blue Falcon without a Dynomutt would be like making Shaggy without Scooby...Batman without Robin...Joe Montana without Jerry Rice...Laverne without Shirley, etc.! I've had designs to make the Blue Falcon for years, but the holdup had always been Dog Wonder. So as soon as I saw the Mattel WWE/Scooby-Doo two-packs I knew it was time to make the duo (for the record, I bought the Sin Cara set because I could never stomach buying anything John Cena--you can't see him...in my house, amirite?).

Anyway, "Dog Blunder" here is all Mattel Scooby-Doo. I sanded off the nose and face, and resculpted a slimmer snout, eyes, and mask, and enlarged and turned the ears. Besides that the cape is from a DCSH Supergirl, with a ToyBiz Marvel Legends Black Panther high-collar. The booties were also sculpted on.

I wish he had a little more articulation, there aren't a whole lot of exciting, dynamic poses he can go-go to, but maybe someday I'll find a Scooby with knee joints that can stand upright. I also had visions of adding some tentacle extensions but couldn't locate my extra Doc Ock arms. Maybe next time.
