This is my entry into the Cranky Pants contest and when it comes to antiheroes, they don't come much crankier than Judge Joseph Dredd. He patrols Mega City One astride the Lawmaster motorcycle and armed with the Lawgiver gun and a grimace, viewing the squalour through a darkened visor. He is the law and you don't mess with the law.

I really liked the costume design in the 2012 Dredd movie, it struck that rare balance of making a comic book costume look realistic and tactical while still retaining the essence of its design. Started with an Electro from the Marvel Legends Infinite Amazing Spider-Man 2 series. Sanded off all the plugs. The head comes from a Marvel Legends Infinite Guardians of the Galaxy series Nova, heavily modified. Cut off the star and removed the part of the helmet cover the eyes, trimmed it at the base and sculpted on the visor and details. Used a bit of pleather for the straps connecting the chest armour to the back armour. Swapped out the hands for those from a Marvel Legends Fantomex. Sculpted on the chest and back armour plating, the epaulettes, the elbow guards and kneepads and the front of the boots. Created the holster by folding a piece of plastic cut from a blister card into a holster shape. Took the belt from the Winter Soldier movie Captain America, with the eagle sculpted over the belt buckle. I was a little intimidated by the prospect of sculpting small details like the badge, because I'm nowhere near the skill level of the Realmers like STJuggernaut and ManyMackCustoms who have done this character at the 3 3/4 inch scale.

Appreciate the votes...hotshot.
