Animal Man was one of the best, if not THE best, thing to come out of DC's New 52. If you haven't read it you're really doing yourself a disservice. After reading through the run I knew I need Buddy to hang out with Swamp thing and Constantine. The chest symbol really wasn't as hard to paint as I thought it was going to be. It isn't quite as crisp and clean as I'd like but I'm really happy with how it turned out. For the head I just added a tiny bit of sculpt to the forehead to finish the mask and I really think it just looks right. I'm also super pleased with how all the colors came out especially on his hair. However, I felt like he was a little bland and not quite dynamic enough so I decided to showcase his morphology with some fodder. His big beast hand, which is easily removable, came from an old Spawn Mangler figure and was made to fit on like a glove. I'm incredibly happy with how this project turned out. What are your thoughts?
