Hey, Realmers! Next up is the Marvel Now inspired Gamora. Lots of sculpting went into this one; I stripped down a Black Cat figure, then built up the costume details step by step. As the Aves sculpt properties changed as it cured and hardened, I manipulated it into different details for the costume. The hands are from Hasbro pre-ROML Black Widow variant, making them gray to match the finished paint job. Head is Jimmy Snukas daughter Tamina Snuka from the Matty WWE line, hair is from Sota Street Fighter Remy (Sota, where are you now?), a Hasbro Darth Maul double edged light saber with swapped orange beams, the laser pistol is from Gears of War figure with Hasbro Yoda lightsaber beam added to it which can also be swapped onto the 2nd lightsaber whose origin is unknown (not sure where I got it or where its from). Also the feet are from Toybiz Ultimate FF figure, hallowed out and modded to fit and work like Hasbro pivot ankles. Her 'Storm Trooper' look is really cool and i see Marvel and Star Wars crossing paths eventually. Wreck it Ralph had tons of cameos, so who knows what the future holds as far as Disney/ Marvel collaborations go. This custom was quite the challenge from sculpting to painting, start to finish. Taking the road less traveled and doing what I think Hasbro will not. I almost added some interchangeable hands from Sota Cammie but I think this is enough lol. Thanks for looking and good fortune to you! Please wait... |
