"From this day, let my wrath be my life! From this day, let death be my lover, my patron, my soul! Never will I rest until Loki lies as dead as he whose love was the purest I have ever known! Let the word go out to Loki, wherever he may hide. Let him know that Kelda Stormrider seeks his life, and will not rest until that debt is paid!"
-- Kelda

Alas, Kelda is a tragic figure in the grand scheme of things. She falls in love with a mortal, a fry cook from Oklahoma named Bill, who comes from a long line of Bills. Then, sadly, she suffers through the loss of her dear Bill at the hands of renegade Asgardians in Latveria. To make matters worse, Loki steals a part of her soul in order to forge a weapon. That, in turn, makes her unable to move on from her loss, and she suffers greatly. The story eventually comes to a happy ending, as Kelda and Bill are reunited in Valhalla after she eventually dies, as well.

Why does Marvel do that to us hard core Thor fans? Introduce a great pair of characters then tear them away from us? Oh well. All a part of the life and death cycle, like Ragnarok.

For this custom, which was relatively simple, I used my SDCC Shaana as a base and removed the extremely bad hair she came with and replaced it with a Kelly Kelly wrestler figures hair and painted it lemon yellow. Dremeled off the bikini, painted her from head to toe in Tamiya flat flesh tone. Painted the Shanna gauntlet Tamiya gold leaf. Added a few craft store rings for her wrist and ankle bracelets and made her belt from a broken gold bracelet I found in one of my wife's junk drawers. Yeah I know, scandalous. My wife had a good laugh over it though. Hope you guys like her.
Crap. Forgot to add that the dress was made scrap pieces of torn up white t-shirts.

Thank you Lady Buff. Kelda has a very short run in the Thor continuity but her story is so sad and just caught my attention.

Breathtaking! And I mean both the beautiful, VERY sexy figure and the background too. You are again a master with the cinematography. You really bring the viewer on a trip someplace else with your presentations. Nice work on her cloth outfit.

Gracias mi Brother. True. I should not always think of every Marvel character dying as the final curtain.
