1. found this beast a year or so ago and figured the time is now for a repaint since the fever of the Hulk movie is getting high. I am also doing a custom base for this, but hopefully it won't turn out like crud since it is my first attempt at doing something like this. 2. I sculpted some new hair and filled in some lines and top edges of the pants. I cut out plastic and sculpted that to his bottom pants for the rips. that wasn't a good idea cause I kept getting stuck and scratched by them while painting. 3. painted it black with the krylon black fusion paint. 4. did the normal way I paint(have to use bigger paintbrushes for bigger figures!)...except this time, I borrowed a page from GJ in doing the muscle highlighting and then I airbrushed over that for added detail because this joker has so many muscle lines! 5. for the homemade custom base I used a box, taped some crumpled newspapers to it to make the rocks and covered it with a sculpting material called sculptamold. I sprayed it all black and then drybrushed the brown, yellow and orange in ![]() |
