We have to step away from the Hellfire Club for a moment. Today was the official BluRay release of Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. It got an early digital release, which I checked out, and it's actually pretty good. But one character stood out more than anyone. I thought Mera was awesome in it. So, I had to jump on her, immediately determined to have her done by the BluRay release. I consider this perfect timing. She was an excessively tedious project. Lots of thin yellow lines and lot of even thinner black lines. Started with Valkyrie to make my job a bit easier, and gave her feet from Namor. They fit this larger female build pretty well. Swapped out one hand for She-Hulk and the other for Dagger. The head was a fun endeavor. Valkyrie's face with the ponytail from a Kaiyodo DOA Kasumi. Sculpted up the rest of the hair and the headpiece. A very tedious project, but I absolutely love how she came out in the end.
