Hello all. This was supposed to just be a weekend project but it ended up running over a couple of days, anyway this is my own interpretation of Thor. I was looking at my collection and realised I don't have a Thor figure but after looking around I didn't really like the look of the ones released (just personal opinion) so I decided to make my own. It also gave me a chance to work on my sculpting skills. The design is heavily influenced by ultimate Thor but I prefer his traditional hammer and wanted to give him a shawl type thing that was reminiscent of his classic cape and this is what I came up with. The figure is entirely the ML Frankenstein base with sculpted hair, beard, collar and wraps. The hair hasn't come out exactly as I'd hoped but practice makes perfect I guess. The hammer is completely sculpted from a lump of milliput and a bamboo skewer for the handle. His shawl is just a cut up piece of fabric which was actually pretty tricky to get into the right shape. The clasps on the shawl and the circles on his chest (still not sure what they actually are?) are made from craft foam. As usual painted in citadel paints.
