Like most sets I've made, there's usually one specific character that sparks me embarking on the group as a whole. For the Hellfire Club, there was two. The first one was Selene. I love this character. A psychic vampire who survives by draining the life force of others. She has telepathy, telekinesis, can manipulate fire, and some reality warping abilities. But, that's not it. She can also animate inanimate objects. Her wiki page literally has a long list of powers for her. I remember first learning of the character from the Wolverine: Adamantium Rage game. I recall fighting this woman clad in black who made fire rise from the floors, chairs fly around the room, and regained health every time she touched me. That was not a fun boss fight when you're a pure melee character. Anyway, I realized late I was running low on capes, so she ended up with the Grim Reaper cape instead of Scarlet Witch. Granted, I do still think it looks pretty good. Sculpted up her corset, and gave her the head and lower legs of a GI Joe Baroness. Head from Dagger, and had to give her a flame effect to finish her off. Actually, I wanted to originally pose her in the Tamashii red flame effects, but couldn't find them for a decent price. Was like $40-50. Saw them once before for $12. Should have grabbed them. I didn't realize that was some special deal. But, alas. Maybe when I fix her up again at some point.
