I've been wanting some more Green Lantern figures for awhile so I decided to make one myself. I love Soranik Natu in the comics and was dismayed that she wasn't in the new wave of figures so I thought she would be a good choice. Viewing a few different customs on the web, I decided to try greymonk's recipe using a Wasp as a base.

After an ordeal of getting the wings off, I sculpted on new hair (which took several tries to not get her looking like the Slim Jim guy) and then painted her up. The collar is made from a twist tie and the symbol is my first decoupage attempt. It could have turned out better but it's ok for now. The base is one I used from a Manhunter figure, since he stands up pretty well on his own.
