For my second custom I wanted to do one of my favorite characters - Hawkguy!...Err, HawkEYE. I was never overly fond of his modern costume and felt it lacked a lot of charm that his retro all purple one had. However, I grew to really enjoy this modern interpretation and decided to model the figure after Fraction's Hawkeye as well as Ales Kot's Clint featured in Secret Avengers. The upper body and head are from the Marvel Legends Hawkeye figure. I painted a different, smaller, more vibrant purple arrow emblem on his chest. The bandages are all sculpted on using green stuff. For the bottom half, I used the Winter Soldier tactical pants from the Captain America Mandroid BAF line. I darkened up the pants and boots, and added some purple on there as well. The belt and harness, as well as the quiver all came with the original Hawkeye figure, but I added a teeny bit of paint to the belt. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how this came, though I've learned a bit about learning when to sculpt vs when to paint; his bandages were a pain and to be honest, I don't love 100% how they turned out, but overall, pleased with it.
