When I 1st read & saw in the Justice League Robin al grown-up I was blown away!! I was glad he was not anymore a sidekick but had taken Batman's position as protector of Gotham. True, Earth-2 Hawkman gave him a hard time but eventually he was accepted as a member.

Although a lot of people don't like this version, personally I prefer it. The second one, cool as it was, still reminded me as a sidekick. Hence the why I like the 1st costume...

Regarding the cape, it was hard to get a nice yellow color on the rubbery capes. So I got part of an IC Dr. Light cape and with yellow cloth resolved the issue.
