Merry Christmas! Chote is my special gift for Fwoosh's annual Secret Santa event. This dinosaur fellow was mostly made on a MOTUC Demo-Man base with a resculpted head from some random minotaur toy I had laying around. The weapons came from Papo Toys Dragon Mutant and his coat was hand sewn by my wonderful and very helpful girlfriend!
As you can see, my version of Shoate is a bit different from his standard samurai attire. I decided to redesign him as a rugged ronin out for Turtle blood. And to find Soul Edge I guess, Soul Blade's Mitsurugi was a big inspiration for me.
The kanji on him all have a meaning - "dinosaur" on the front, "turtle killer" on the back, and the symbol for "power" on his left hand.
