For this brutes contest I decided to create a custom of a man who accomplished so much in his 67 years of living. Within those 67 years he was able to lived thru three different lives...A legendary bodybuilder, The most recognizable action movie star in holly wood and finally a politician. His name is...Arnold Schwarzenegger.

There has been many collectible movie figures of Arnold over the years.. Terminator, Conan, Commando, Predator and even Last Action Hero. I wanted to try something different and make a figure of him when he first made his mark as a legendary 7 time Mr. Olympia bodybuilding Champion winning in 1970-75, 80. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a icon in the bodybuilding world and inspired many people (including myself) into the bodybuilding lifestyle similar to the way Bruce Lee inspired many into trying martial arts.

The young bodybuilding Arnold was very confident, ambitious, charismatic, arrogant, funny and a born leader. He had all the traits of a dominating Alpha Male that knew what he wanted in life and took charge of it by making no excuses and getting what he sought after. Arnold competed in the golden era of bodybuilding. His charismatic personality gave the sport of bodybuilding the popularity it needed which helped jump start his legendary action movie career.

Here what I did to create young Arnold Schwarzenegger the bodybuilder. At first I did some research for a base that was similar to Arnold physical body but had no luck. I then decided to construct Arnold base using fodder from Marvel Legends figures , baf and sota parts. I used ML Scorpion Venom legs and lower torso because of the vascular muscles texture. Then I attached ML Beast upper torso to the venom base sanding down beast shoulder traps lower.
Next I added ML baf Terrax biceps and forearms to beast torso. The feet is from Sota Ryu and head is a cast I purchased on ebay of Tech Noir Terminator 1. I then sculpted lower lats, round shoulders, bigger biceps with a higher peak, chest & nipples, his posing trunks and finally ummm his bulge lol. Drybrushed 95% of his body including the head with different layers of flesh skin tone to highlight his muscles more. Arnold hair and posing trunks were painted dark brown just like his childhood bodybuilding idol Reg Park and he was done.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a living hollywood legend with all the memorable iconic characters he played in movies but his great career began as a seven time champion bodybuilder. When Arnold arrived to the United States from Austria ....He came, he saw and then he conquered like a modern day Conan the Barbarian. Arnold may not be perfect but he sure made the most of his life on this earth.
