"Mad" Bill Morrison's story starts, like so many westerns, in tragedy and bloodshed. The son of a prospector, the Morrison's barely found enough gold to buy the year's provisions in town, till one day Pa struck a vein of gold!!! They were rich! But fortune doesn't last, least of all in the rugged west. As word got out, a band of claim jumpers crept up in the night and slaughtered the family in their sleep. They drug out the bodies and buried them near the river. But young Bill Morrison was not killed in that evil deed. A day later one of the townsfolk stopping by the river spotted the half killed boy. Fearing for the boy's safety the old man nursed Bill back to health without a word to the rest of the town. Of course Bill learned of the tragedy, and taking the name of Mad Morrison, vowed his own brand of justice on the men that killed his family. For years he sought them out, those murderous band of thieves. All the while righting wrongs the law forgot. ---------------------------------------- The base body is a GR Scarecrow! I started off just trying to figure out a way to use the boots. But the more I looked at the body, the more I thought I could find a way to use more bits of it. Finally popping off the existing head and neck, (which stuck out of the chest!) and attaching a new one above the shoulders, I found it was actually a decent base body! Normal arms even fit in the sockets. The coat and hat are from a TNT wrestler, and the arms are from a different TNT wrestler (they had similar jackets, I guess they are a team??), but they fit the arm sockets a lot better. The neck is also from one of the wrestlers. The head is a movie punisher. The chaps and belt are real leather. The belt buckle is 1/2 of a metal bead with the inside enameled with paint. ![]() |
