I have spent the last year trying to figure out which Thor I wanted to display with my ML Avengers. Walmart Thor is too short, Series 3 Thor is too ugly, and Modern Thor is too big. I have been using the ML Lord Thor figure, and although it is a great figure, i really wanted a classic thor. I Finally decided to just go ahead and customize one.

As I usually do once i decide to customize, I flipped through this great site to get some ideas. When I ran across Hammer of the Gods' Custom Thor from 2011, I knew I had found my recipe.

The base figure is a MOTUC Bow figure. Not only is MOTUC a very good scale for Thor, the Bow head is (IMO) more Thor than any of the actual Thor figures that Hasbro or Toybiz have given us.

Recipe:
Base - MOTUC Bow
Head - MOTUC Bow face with helmet and hair from Walmart Thor
Wings on helmet - ML Lord Thor
Torso Armor - Walmart Thor
Lower legs/knees - Walmart Thor

I think i have finally found my display Thor.
