How did you replace the dorsal spines exactly ? I have a 94 neca goji I don't mind sacrificing to make 85 look nicer XD Same goes for the tail, the ball joints don't seem to work all that well

No real pattern was used. I just placed the 94' and 85' plates in a way that has the largest plates in the lower mid section and the smallest towards the top. I also applied a good amount to the base of the tail; right after it connects to the body. As for the tail itself, the bendable part is the 94' whereas the rest is the original 85's. There is a slight bump where the two meet but its barely noticeable.

Dude, the figure looks so much better now. I personally don't have a problem with it's original appearance but it's so much better with the 94 bits added to it! props!

Thanks! I didn't mind the original all that much either, but I had the parts lying around from the 94' and figured WTH. Hopefully S.H Monster arts will make a G84 of their own.
