Well. I picked up 2 Yodas last night; 1 for me and 1 for my troubles...

Those eyes were more than piercing so at first I figured I'd take a new Xacto and scratch back a layer or so of paint off the top of the cornea to reduce the bugginess. That proved fruitless so I took to actually trimming the eyeballs and creating a nice over eyelid in the process. This also captured paint very well when I went back over all the exposed areas with a black wash.

While the robe was off I added the hump on his back and hemmed the robe opening to reduce the fraying. It really is the one thing that makes this figure look so bad.

All in all, Yoda looking good he is.

That is a huge improvement and it really solves a lot that's wrong with Yoda . Now just need to figure out how to fix that damn articulation or lack there of.

Magnets. Slice the upper arms and drill "magnet-sized" holes in both limbs and voila!!! Upper arm articulation. Lower legs: Revoltech shoulder joints.

Haven't done it myself. I just wanted to be able to look at his face.

Nice. It's like the difference between the awesome puppet and the terrible CGI Yoda. Very well done.

Fine Work! Creativity is the path to the Customization side. Scratching leads to Trimming. Trimming leads to Paint. Paint leads to hemming. I sense less fraying in you.

The sculpt is great. I just wish they hadn't gone after the hair so heavily. I don't think anyone thinks of his sideburns as much as they do his Homer Simpson scarcity of hair.
