In ancient Egypt, a land of gods and kings, deities and pharaohs, a warrior fought valiantly in battle to protect innocent villagers against an evil warlord. But he was defeated. He was killed in the desert. His lifeless body was brought into a temple and placed before the statue of Khonshu, the God of the Moon. On that night, the fallen warrior was resurrected from death by the power of Khonshu to become the Egyptian deity’s human avatar on Earth. He gained strength with different phases of the moon and possessed deadly fighting skills with a crescent blade staff. He wore a cape-like shroud to become a symbolic specter of the night. He protected people of the ancient kingdom against evil men and creatures of darkness. He became the first Moon Knight. Thousands of years later, there would also be another. Hope you all liked my Moon Knight based fan fiction. It’s actually similar to the modern Moon Knight’s origin but the look of this one is quite different. The figure was made from Nepthu, staff from Marvel Select Moon Knight statue of Khonshu base, golden boots from Bow, cape from Marzo, and head from a combination of DC Ares and Stargate Ra One of the modern Moon Knight’s arch enemies is Black Spectre, so I thought of having the ancient Egyptian Moon Knight fight a similar looking villain which is why I chose a Wrarrl figure for his opponent. ***Update*** Thanks to everyone who voted during the Time Warp contest, this won silver, second place. ![]() |
