Throughout history the Celtic warrior represented the typical barbarian to the Romans, Greeks and other more "civilized" people of the Mediterranean. The Celts had a brutal warrior culture. They were also taller and more muscular than their Mediterranean opponents.
So for the Time Warp custom contest, an ideal character that I envisioned as one of these Celtic warriors is the savage Hulk. If the Hulk actually went back in time to that era, he would fit right in with them.
This is a repainted Marvel Select Barbarian Hulk with the weapon of a Marvel Icons Frost Giant. The Celtic torc around his neck was made from pieces of a Warcraft figure's accessories.
Thank you Gearman for checking this one out. I enjoyed making this Celtic Warrior concept. I really should try it again with a flesh colored one next time, not a Hulk.
