This has been on my workbench for a while, ever since Ultron was announced as the main villain of Avengers 2 I have been planing this figure and diorama. I call this piece, Ultron the Assembling

I am going to try to give a recipe... so here goes lol

ULTRON:
Head: Terminator 3 T-X, Iron Man, and other bits
Torso: Clear Orange Devil Man (I think) and fodder bits (T-X)
Arms: Titanium Man, Knightfall Batman, Spawn interlink
Waist/Hips: Movie Iron Man
Legs: Iron Man and Articulated Starscream Movie Figure
Feet: Crysis figure

All of that ^ plus lots of bits. Given a multi layered paint job with multiple shades of silver, gun metal and metallic blue. with multiple washes and sprays/splashes for a gritty effect. Even have a few decals on him. he also features an LED light (removeable) in his chest

The 16 inch tall Diorama was built on a wood base, with a Heavy duty cardboard tube sliced in have to make the base of the back wall. Covered in plastic card, given layers, with a suspended ceiling holding up various hoses and cables and an Assemling apparatus (some star wars legged droid) as well as arms in the floors. Vulcan Raven's Ammo Barrel sits in the back. Lit from above via and LED light.
