I've been a fan of homestarrunner dot com for a long time and Strong Bad looked like he would be perfect to turn into a Mighty Mugg. But I didn't want him to be unaccompanied by one of his entourage, so I had to include The Cheat!

I sculpted the boxing gloves out of Aves Apoxie Sculpt, and used both Apoxie and Fixit Sculpt to make The Cheat entirely from scratch. Afterwards I made a rubber mold and a resin cast of The Cheat so that in the future I can make an army of Cheat Commandoes.

I also drilled a hole in the back of Strong Bad's head so that I could hot glue a package tie to form the laces of his mask. Now if he turns his head, the laces will follow from the back of the head at all times.

I'm hoping I'll get the time to do more Muggs in the future. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Mighty Muggs in any retail stores for a while. Don't know what happened to them, I thought they were cooler than the Pop Heroes that have seemed to replace them.
