I wanted a Cobra Commander that was bright, almost cartoon styled but looked more realistic in design than most of the CC figures feel (I.M.O at least) so, here is my take on the original Hooded Cobra Commander.
I made him using the Renegades CC figure, and switched out his lower arms with a Retaliation Cobra Troopers with some minor sculpting to give a kind of "Gauntlet" feel. Then for the hooded head I got a resin sculpted one on eBay (which turned out to be a BI*CH to paint his eyes lol) and painted the whole figure with Testors Acrylic Model Masters Ford GM blue, and added the small details (i.e. buttons, shades, ect.) For his cape, I used black cloth that my aunt sowed together for me, and Gold string stuff for the neck ties and the body/shoulder wrap. The Cobra logo on his left shoulder is from the same Retaliation Cobra Troopers knee pad that I cut off and glued their. The belt is from a MU Captain America. Finally I added a small blade holder on his left hip with a random GI Joe small straight sword and a holster on the right hip that I cut off of a CORPS figure, and glued their for the Revolver which was previously Wild Bills :) O.K, I hope you all enjoy him, because he is one of my favorites!!
