So, I found this nightmare fuel at Walmart, but he was only $7, which is a lot less than Hallmark's fancy line, and I thought...eh...maybe I can make him better if I pretend he's an action figure. Except for the Shield, I had to repaint everything in the end. Fixing the face initially was ok but then it really highlighted how crappy the rest of him was painted, so I ended up doing everything. A lot of their other characters looked fine, for reference. If you want to get Spidey, iron man, batman, some others, you could comic-book up your tree pretty cheaply, since all of you can repaint the mistakes. :)
