I'm pretty sure that Wolverine was born after the samurai era, but I couldn't resist creating a Logan inspired by that era. I used a Drax head, heightened Sub Zero body, and industrial napkins for clothing. The sword is steel and the claws are toothpicks. As for the mask, I wanted to give him something reminiscent of the Wolverine mask, so I painted the details and glossed them to look like grease paint.
